Birthday & Treat Social at The Bridge

On June 30, 2026, six months of planning became the first SheaDay Celebration. In partnership with The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center in Dallas, we welcomed guests for an afternoon built around a simple idea: pair practical care with the joy of being celebrated.

Guests received curated gift bags filled with essentials and thoughtful extras while enjoying donated cookies, orange creamsicle soda, unsweet tea, and a tasting of premium sodas. What was planned as a small birthday and treat social became the first real expression of what SheaDay is meant to be: care, dignity, and a little delight.

The People Who Showed Up

This first celebration may have started as my idea, but it became real because people showed up for it.

My friends listened to me talk about SheaDay for months. They donated, shared ideas, volunteered, carried things, changed plans, filled gaps, and stepped in when others couldn't. Some supported the project long before I knew exactly what it would become.

Watching six months of planning come together was special, but getting to do it surrounded by people who believed in the idea enough to help me bring it to life made the first SheaDay Celebration mean even more.
