A Note from Shea

SheaDay began with a simple belief: that celebration is a form of care.

What started as an idea centered on birthdays and intentional giving slowly grew into a larger mission rooted in dignity, acknowledgment, and connection. Through curated gift bags, community partnerships, and seasonal celebrations, SheaDay creates moments designed to remind people they are seen and valued.

I’ve always been drawn to the way thoughtful gestures can shift the feeling of a moment — whether through gathering people together, sharing a meal, giving a gift, or simply making someone feel remembered.

SheaDay became a way to bring those instincts into community-centered work, pairing practical support with small moments of joy.

As the project continues to grow, SheaDay is expanding through partnerships, community support, and SheaDay Studio — a creative extension of the work that helps support future celebrations and initiatives.

This site serves as both a home for the project and a journal of the journey as it unfolds.
